Whether it’s the well-loved combinations such as the Pollo Dolce, praised for its tasteful balance, or the hearty Mezze Vegetarian Sandwich celebrated by vegetarians for its fresh, flavorful profile, this restaurant consistently delivers on authenticity and customer satisfaction. While some noted that slices are modest in size and priced accordingly, the general consensus is that the quality and freshness justify the indulgence.

For refreshment, their Mango Juice offers a sweet, tropical contrast that refreshes the palate, complementing the savory richness of the pizzas. Deep Cove Pizza is truly a must-visit spot for pizza lovers seeking a genuine taste of Italy wrapped in local charm and hospitality.

We just wanted wanted something casual and something quick to eat after our hike so we decided to try this pizza place. We all had one slice each since it was gonna take longer if we had ordered a whole pizza. We had the Ham & Pineapple, Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza. It was $7 each slice. It was just okay for me. I didn’t think it was worth it for a small size like that. It was a sunny weekend so almost everywhere was busy. We wanted to get a whole pizza since it’s more economical but unfortunately the lady was all on her own and we would have to wait 20-25 since she backed up with other orders. From what I overheard when she was on the phone, she was trying to get someone in to help her. I think they need to plan their schedule better especially when it’s a sunny weekend. I also overheard her taking an order over the phone. I’m not sure she should have been doing that; she could barely handle the walk in orders let alone a phone order all on her own. Did the pizza taste good, yes it was just okay, good enough when you just wanna eat something quick. Do i wanna try again, maybe not.

Such a lovely experience! The owner, Deborah, shared me how it all started with her husband, 53 years ago. She offered to make half one flavor and another because I was so indecisive. The pizza Pollo Dolce was tasty. From my personal taste, I like pizza dough that is thin, while this one can appear as thick, it is light and chewy. There is also the freshness of the ingredients that balances and makes the lunch deal. I didn’t check the ratings before, you’ll never know until you’ve tried it !

Deep Cove and the old Colloseum pizza have been my favorite pizza place for years. I would describe it as kind of a Sicilian / Greek hybrid with a nice bready crust. The toppings are fresh and the quality is high. I have had many pizzas across the world including some of the highest rated hole in the walls in Italy - Naples, Rome etc and I always come back here. I order the same Margherita and Funghi every time. I can understand people might get upset at the price, or that it's not the type of "pizza" they are expecting or looking for. If you are looking for North American meat lovers slop with 20 toppings, or a Neopolitan floury thin crust, this is not for you. These are very minimalist pies with high quality ingredients, all about the dough with a perfect medium thickness crunchy bready crust.

A wonderful outlet with great food and friendly vibes! If you’re a vegetarian, the Mezze Vegetarian Sandwich is an absolute must-try — hearty, fresh, and packed with delicious sauces that make every bite memorable.
